Acceptable Use Policy

These rules keep WaCRM shops in good standing with Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform policies and protect the people your business messages. They are part of the Terms of Service and apply to every workspace, every staff member, and every broadcast or automated reply your team sends through WaCRM, from the first opt-in message onward.

1. Opt-in only

You may only message people who have opted in to hear from your business on WhatsApp — for example, by giving you their number at checkout, starting a conversation with you, or agreeing on a signup form. You must be able to show how and when a contact opted in if asked.

2. No spam

No unsolicited bulk messaging, no purchased contact lists, and no disguising the identity of your business. Every broadcast must honour opt-outs immediately — a contact who replies "stop" or similar must not receive further marketing messages.

3. No general-purpose AI chatbot

Meta has prohibited general-purpose AI chatbots on the WhatsApp Business Platform since 15 January 2026. WaCRM's AI assist is built as reply help and conversation summaries for your human staff — you may not configure WaCRM, or any other tool connected to your number, to act as an autonomous, general-purpose conversational AI that replies without staff review.

4. Prohibited content

You may not use WaCRM to send content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or that violates Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy or Commerce Policy, including restricted goods and services.

5. Template and quality rules

Message templates must accurately describe the message that will be sent and must be approved before use. Keep your WhatsApp quality rating in mind: repeated blocks or reports from recipients can restrict your number, independent of WaCRM. 6. Enforcement

We may warn, suspend, or terminate a workspace that breaches this policy, and will cooperate with Meta's own enforcement of its platform policies, which operate independently of WaCRM.
