Early access

Order updates that send themselves

Order automation sends confirmation, COD confirmation, delivery updates and abandoned-cart reminders on WhatsApp without a staff member typing each one by hand. The store connector that triggers these automatically is early access; until it ships self-serve, our team builds your templates and connects your store manually as part of Setup Commerce.

Why manual order updates don't scale

A shop taking 20 orders a day can message each customer by hand. At 100 orders a day, someone is copying order numbers between a store admin panel and WhatsApp for hours. Delivery updates get skipped, COD orders go unconfirmed, and carts get abandoned without a reminder — not because the team doesn't care, but because there isn't time to send the same message, personalised, a hundred times a day.

How it works today (Setup Commerce)

  1. We connect your store. Manually, by our team, reading order data from your platform.
  2. We write and submit 4 templates. Order confirmation, COD confirmation, delivery update, abandoned cart — each submitted to Meta for approval.
  3. We set up basic automation. Rules that send the right template at the right order event.

Where this is going

Store connectors for Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce and a Chrome sidebar are in early access, targeted for January 2027 (Shopify, Wix, Chrome) and February 2027 (WooCommerce). Once live, you will be able to connect your store and build automation rules yourself from a flow builder, planned for the Pro plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is order automation live today?

It is early access: the store connector that triggers messages automatically from your store is not self-serve yet. Until then, our team sets up your order templates and connects your store manually as part of Setup Commerce.

Which order events can trigger a message?

Confirmation, cash-on-delivery (COD) confirmation, delivery updates and abandoned-cart reminders are the four templates included in Setup Commerce. More triggers are planned as the self-serve flow builder ships.

Do customers have to opt in to receive these messages?

Yes. Order and delivery updates to a customer who placed an order are typical utility messages, but abandoned-cart and marketing-style messages need a clear opt-in — see the abandoned cart guide for the opt-in rules.
