AI that helps your staff reply, not a chatbot
AI assist reads a customer's message and suggests a reply your staff can send as-is or edit, and it summarises long conversations so a new staff member can catch up fast. It never sends a message on its own — it is help for the people on your team, built to stay within Meta's ban on general-purpose AI chatbots on the WhatsApp Business Platform since 15 January 2026.

Why "reply help" instead of a chatbot
Many WhatsApp tools promise a fully automated chatbot that handles customers without a person involved. Meta no longer allows that on the WhatsApp Business Platform: since 15 January 2026, general-purpose AI chatbots are banned. WaCRM takes the other approach on purpose — AI that makes your staff faster, not an AI that replaces them, which also means your customers are always talking to someone who can actually solve an unusual problem.

How it works
- A message comes in. AI assist reads it alongside the conversation history.
- A suggested reply appears. Shown to the assigned staff member inside the inbox, never sent automatically.
- Staff send, edit, or ignore it. The final message is always a human decision.
- Long chats get summarised. So reassigning a conversation doesn't mean starting from zero.
What you get
- Reply suggestions grounded in the current conversation, not generic scripts.
- Conversation summaries for handoffs between staff or shifts.
- A monthly AI reply allowance by plan, with extra replies available at $10 per 1,000.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI reply to customers on its own?
No. AI assist suggests a reply and your staff member reads, edits if needed, and sends it. Nothing goes out without a person approving it.
Why doesn't WaCRM offer a full chatbot?
Meta has banned general-purpose AI chatbots on the WhatsApp Business Platform since 15 January 2026. AI assist is built as a help for customer service staff, which stays within that policy.
What does the conversation summary do?
When a chat gets long or is reassigned to a different staff member, the summary gives a quick read of what has already been said, so the next person doesn't have to scroll through the full history.
